The renovation of our main floor open kitchen and living room was done so well that after months of being able to live in it, we still enjoy just sitting and looking at it all–it turned out beautifully!
Working with Artisan was an easy process. The four months of planning, preparation, and work was handled with efficiency, professionalism, and an inclusiveness that showed the care and attention with which Artisan is all about. We were very much a part of the discussions planning the layout, and any changes were worked out. The use of Buildertrend.net was quite beneficial for communication of all parties during construction, and not only was it a useful tool to see where we were in our process, but it was a fun way to track and view the teardown and build of our new living area. Artisan keeps on top of the messaging board, and that helps ensure all parties are informed of all stages of the reno.
We had a design put into our main feature wall that involved a couple of powwows on the best way to do the installation, but the result was exactly what we pictured in our heads, and we are ecstatic with the results. Our feature wall consisted of ledgestone, a modern fireplace, TV with sound system, and a premanufactured wave wall. Once all codes were adhered to, the different edges of stone, electronics, cabling, and wall panels were seamlessly put together, and with the additive hue lighting, we’ve accomplished an atmosphere that is a dynamic luxury environment to enjoy.
Not only did our feature wall work out very well, but we were absolutely thrilled with construction, flooring, granite, cabinetry, tile work, paint work, and the ceiling. All contractors were very accomplished, and it showed in the way the elements all came together so elegantly. Not only were all contractors very skilled, they took great care, and worked so cohesively together they kept to a very efficient timeline. If there were any adjustments needed, they were addressed immediately.
The complimentary consultation with Artisan’s interior designer helped to pull everything together. Although we had a good idea of what we wanted to achieve, Melissa was there to keep our individual preferences in line with the overall design. She was excellent at seeing how the each element would mesh, and steer us in the right direction.
Overall, we were very happy working with Artisan on our renovation. Renovations can be lengthy and challenging, and hard to go through for homeowners, but Artisan kept everything moving as smooth as could be, on time, and with as little hiccups as possible. We are enjoying, and appreciate our renovation every day, and will definitely work with them on our next one. Our renovation turned out absolutely spectacular and we are very happy with the end result!
